July 5th, 2o24- When it comes to protecting the President of the United States, the vehicle of choice must be unparalleled in security and resilience. "The Beast," is the U.S. Presidential limousine, a custom engineering piece designed to ensure the safety and command capability of the President under any circumstance.

History & Development

The Birth Of The New Beast

Appointed by the Secret Service in 2014, "The Beast" marked a new era in presidential security. General Motors (GM) was awarded three contracts to build this next-generation limousine, each initially estimated to cost $1-$1.5 million, but ultimately costing $3 million each. By January 2016, GM had received nearly $16 million for its work on this formidable vehicle. After rigorous testing and camouflage-wrapped prototypes, Cadillac confirmed the vehicle's completion and delivery to the Secret Service. The new model, resembling the Cadillac CT6, officially entered service in late summer 2018, providing unparalleled protection for the President. A least of total of 10 are in service today.
